This Shaman's Kuripe is a unique, handcrafted piece, made from chonta wood, a sacred and durable material traditionally used in the Andean region of Cusco. At the tip, it features a small detail of natural bone.
The kuripe is adorned with a condor design, representing one of the three sacred animals of the Andean Trilogy: the Condor, the Puma, and the Serpent. In Andean cosmology, the condor symbolizes Hanan Pacha, the upper world, and serves as a messenger between the earthly and spiritual realms.
