Handwoven Wool Chullo for Warm Winter Cusco

The chullo is a traditional Andean hat, originating from the highland regions of Peru. It is hand-knitted, usually with alpaca, sheep, or llama wool. It serves to keep the head and ears warm, especially in the cold, high-altitude climates of the Andes. It features a condor design with open wings, decorated with multicolored beads, and also has pom-poms on the ear flaps.
