A tepi is a traditional Amazonian tool used in spiritual and healing rituals to blow rapé (an ancestral medicine made from plants) into a single nostril. It is a short tube, usually made of wood, bone, bamboo, or stone. This particular piece features a snake coiled around its top and was handcrafted by artisans in Cusco, Peru.
