The centerpiece of this piece is a Tumi, a ceremonial symbol from ancient Peru, delicately carved from collected bone. The Tumi is a powerful symbol of the pre-Columbian cultures (Moche and Chimú), recognized today as an amulet for protection, health, and good fortune. Each Tumi is hand-carved from natural, collected bone (each piece is unique due to the material's texture). It features a durable macrame cord in an earth/gold tone, designed to last.
