This handwoven macrame bracelet features a sophisticated geometric design reminiscent of a labyrinth. Created with impeccable contrast, it combines a base of high-strength black thread with horizontal lines in vibrant, textured gold thread that catches the light with every movement. It's the perfect accessory for both everyday wear and special occasions, adding a modern, minimalist touch with plenty of personality. For the Incas, the world was divided into three levels: Hanan Pacha (the celestial world), Kay Pacha (the earthly world), and Uku Pacha (the underworld or world of the dead). Entering a labyrinthine or underground corridor symbolized descending to Uku Pacha. It was a ritual journey of introspection, symbolic death, and rebirth upon emerging back into the light of the surface (Kay Pacha). Handmade by Peruvian artisans in Cusco.
